New release myMCS 10.1 in the pipeline
We list a few eye-catching items that allow users to manage their work more efficiently:
- Call templates: book Calls even faster with ready-to-use templates. This enables you to deploy the help desk more widely throughout the organization for a larger variety of tasks
- Web reporting: in addition to myMCS Flexible Reporting and the familiar Report Wizard, operational reports are immediately available in the myMCS WebPortal modules
- Improved interface for web overviews: new toolbar and unfoldable menus for more userfriendliness and a faster navigation; export to MS Excel and MS Word
- myMCS Web TimeRegistration: book your labor efforts and consult overviews from any pc or location
- Better management of outside locations, such as green areas, parking places, bicycle sheds, etc.
- ...
We illustrate a specific situation. In release 10.1 the cleaning of buildings is further supported by a number of useful additions. For each room you can enter glass areas (windows):
- Windows Glass Area – Ext.: represents the outside area
- Windows Glass Area – Int.: represents the inside area
- Interior Glass Area: represents the area for separation glass between e.g. meeting rooms
External and internal area can be different if e.g. the outside wall consists entirely of glass, while this is on the inside only partially the case.
These are valuable data for glass cleaning purposes. With myMCS Flexible Reporting you issue powerful reports giving you insight into the window surfaces that need to be cleaned, classified by room, room category, floor, etc. Such reports provide useful information for making calculations, tenders, glass area data, etc.
A feature that has existed already for a long time, is the type of floor covering by room. This can be visualized easily by a data mapping scheme. Moreover it is possible in myMCS Space Management to define recurrent maintenance tasks (e.g. carpet cleaning). Together with the new features this provides additional resources for man, aging your cleaning more efficiently.
Using an overview for editing room information is now even more easier. Just select in the room overview several rooms at once and select in the context menu the 'edit' option. Now you can modify one or more fields, for all selected rooms.
In release 10.1 you can also enter the room height. The software will suggest a default value, so you don’t need to manually fill in this value for every room. You can even calculate the ‘volume’ of your rooms and buildings (m³).
