A distinction is made between reactive and preventive work orders. Reactive tasks result from helpdesk tickets reported by HP and ISS personnel.

However ISS also uses myMCS Maintenance for creating maintenance plans. These are meant for the preventive maintenance and legal inspections of the technical installations of HP. This covers areas such as fire safety, access control, air conditioning, lighting, elevators, … Last year approx. 10.000 work orders were generated. These are related to 1.500 installations in more than 30 buildings.

The plans allow for the timely and automatic generation of work orders in myMCS WorkOrders. These are allocated to the correct task forces and people and appear in their daily to do lists. The orders contain all necessary information, such as an extensive description of the work, installation data, location, etc.

Once the plans are entered, the system runs autonomously. If necessary you can always add new installations or update existing installations. Thanks to the maintenance module ISS can easily follow up the preventive maintenance history for HP.

A planning board is a helpful tool for managing maintenance tasks and installations. The graphical user interface allows for an easy creation and visualization of plans.

For keeping an overview of all activities ISS issues summarizing reports with myMCS Flexible Reporting. These are handed over on regular basis to HP, so they always remain informed.

Beside the traditional technical maintenance tasks, the maintenance module is also used less commonly used activities. An example is pest control. Automatically generated work orders contain instructions for periodic checking and replacing of insect traps etc. In fact everything that needs to be done on a regular base, can be dealt with by myMCS Maintenance.
